CCI Vratsa Participated in Eurochambres Congress 2026 in Valencia

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa took part in Eurochambres Congress 2026, held on 28 and 29 September 2026 in Valencia, Spain, and hosted by the Cámara de Comercio, Industria, Servicios y Navegación de Valencia. Ms Iliana Filipova, Chair of the Board of CCI Vratsa, represented the Chamber at the event, which brought together representatives of 91 chambers of commerce and industry from 38 countries for two days of discussions, exchange of experience and sharing of practical solutions in support of European businesses.

Under the motto “From business challenges to chamber solutions”, participants discussed key challenges facing companies across Europe and the role of chambers of commerce and industry in developing practical responses to them.

The main topics addressed during the Congress included energy costs and security of supply, geopolitical uncertainty, the uptake of artificial intelligence, remaining barriers within the European Single Market, as well as the conditions needed to encourage investment, innovation and industrial development in Europe.

Particular attention was given to sustainable competitiveness, international trade, skills development and training. During the working sessions, chamber representatives shared practical examples, experience and solutions from different European countries and regions aimed at providing more effective support to small and medium-sized enterprises.

One of the key questions raised during the forum was the extent to which chambers of commerce and industry are prepared to respond to the changing needs of businesses. The discussions highlighted the need for chambers to be agile, proactive and focused on delivering services that create real added value for companies.

For CCI Vratsa, participation in Eurochambres Congress 2026 provided an opportunity to exchange experience with representatives of the European chamber network on issues of direct relevance to businesses in Northwestern Bulgaria, including access to skilled workers, digitalisation, sustainability, international cooperation and improved competitiveness.

Ms Iliana Filipova’s participation in the forum forms part of CCI Vratsa’s continued efforts to maintain an active presence within the European chamber network, exchange good practices and apply European experience and solutions in support of businesses in the region.

Eurochambres Congress 2026 concluded with a look ahead to the next edition of the forum, which will be hosted in 2028 by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
